GTS Novera continues to focus on companies and is transferring its free-mail accounts to Centrum Holdings
The telecommunications operator GTS Novera wants to quit the segment of households and small self-employed trades-people completely during 2009. After transferring selected customer ADSLs to the mobile operator T-Mobile Czech Republic, GTS Novera has agreed with Centrum Holdings on a change of operator of Raz Dva e-mail and web accounts.
Over the next few years GTS Novera will concentrate fully on medium and large companies and the public sector. “After the acquisition of many competing operators and subsequent consolidation, we now have a clear priority, which is the delivery of services to the public sector and Czech and foreign companies and corporations on the Czech and European market. In these segments we can be of most use to our customers, and we also see space here for further growth,” says Stuart Evers, CEO of GTS Novera, explaining the reasons behind the company’s planning over the next few years.
As part of the agreement Centrum Holdings will take over approximately 40,000 e-mail and web accounts from GTS Novera during November. Nothing will basically change for the end users of these accounts. Their e-mails, contacts and personal settings will remain in their original form. Access to their mailbox will remain the same, or end users will have the option of opting directly for the portal centrum.cz.

Our customers will benefit from the transfer to Centrum Holdings, a company for which the provision of e-mail services is one of the important spheres of their business activities, which makes it a reliable partner with many years’ experience and many special services and benefits. The move will mean that our company will be able to focus more on those segments in which we can offer customers services with added value and be full partners,” said Miloš Mastník, director of the commercial support division of GTS Novera, regarding the transfer of the free-mail accounts to Centrum Holdings.

They can look forward to 2 GB of memory in their mailbox, the possibility of sending and receiving attachments of up to 15 MB, and to ever more frequently used mobile access to electronic post. What’s more, if they use centrum.cz to access their post, they will appreciate the unique open concept of the portal, which allows for individual configuration of appearance and contents according to the needs and wishes of each visitor,” adds Pavel Mucha, managing director of Centrum Holdings.
